Welcome to my Blog! If you’re shmoozing this page, it’s probably because you’re interested in getting to know a little bit about me.
I am a recent graduate of Virginia Tech (Hokie Hy!) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness, specialization in Veterinary Business Management, and a Minor in Animal and Poultry Sciences. August 2015, I will be starting my Master’s Program at Colorado State University studying Aquarium Management. Occasionally, I will post something related to my graduate studies.
Officially a graduate!
As you can imagine, I have a passion for the ocean and the animals that live in it. Ever since I was young, the ocean has always been in my heart and has helped to develop my dream to work with aquatic animals. Particularly, I have a deep love for Orcinus Orca (aka Killer Whales), which are the animals I plan to work with and study once I graduate from CSU.
This is Ruby, a retired Navy Beluga whale! Got to meet this beautiful girl at SeaWorld San Diego.
Feel free to ask me any questions about myself or what I post. I am aware that people have a difference of opinion, but I would appreciate if all comments could be left as positive as possible. What I post is my opinion and from my own personal research or experience and is not aimed to cause arguments or offend anyone.
I hope that my posts can inspire you to explore and protect our oceans!
